Description: The port's VLAN ID. For tagged VLAN's, this variable defines a 12 bit port VLAN ID (PVID) used as the identifier of the VLAN in the packet tag.
What is els100SwitchVlanPvid?
This is the port's VLAN ID, a 12-bit value used to tag untagged packets entering the switch on tagged-VLAN systems. It determines which VLAN untagged traffic arriving on that port is assumed to belong to. An admin moving a port from the default VLAN to a new department VLAN would change els100SwitchVlanPvid to that department's VLAN ID.
