What is els100PortStatus?
This reports the connection status of the port, either up, meaning linked, or down, meaning not linked. It's the most basic health indicator an admin checks to see whether a device is actually connected to that port. If a user reports no network access, the admin's first check would be whether els100PortStatus for their port shows up or down.
