What is swanPPPActive?
This read-write INTEGER flag, with no source description but named identically to suartPPPActive, most likely indicates or controls whether PPP encapsulation is active on this synchronous WAN port. An admin toggles this to enable PPP framing for IP traffic over the WAN link instead of another encapsulation. Setting swanPPPActive to true(1) would be appropriate when the WAN circuit is provisioned to carry PPP-encapsulated traffic to the far-end router.
