What is swanNegotiate?

This read-write INTEGER flag, with no source description, most likely enables or disables automatic negotiation of link parameters (such as speed or protocol options) on this WAN port. An admin toggles this to control whether the port automatically negotiates settings with the far end or uses fixed, manually configured parameters. Disabling swanNegotiate would be done when connecting to legacy WAN equipment that doesn't support the negotiation protocol correctly.
