What is stRootDelay?
This read-write TimeTicks value, though its source description is empty, is paired with the read-only stActDelay and represents the Forward Delay this bridge would use for its ports while acting as root. An administrator tunes it to control how long ports wait in the listening and learning states before forwarding traffic. For example, the admin raises stRootDelay on a network with unreliable links to avoid premature forwarding before the topology has fully stabilized.
