What is sifTxStormCnt?
This read-write INTEGER sets the maximum number of multicast packets this port may transmit within a certain period, not applicable to UART ports, implementing multicast storm protection. An administrator lowers it on a port feeding a sensitive segment to cap outbound multicast volume from a potentially runaway source. For example, the admin lowers sifTxStormCnt on a port feeding a video-conferencing segment to cap how many multicast frames it forwards per interval, guarding against a runaway multicast source.
