Description: Length of time during which statistics were collected. In particular, the following statistics may be examined to determine the exact utilization rate of a port: ifInOctets, ifInUcastPkts, ifInNUcastPkts ifOutOctets, ifOutUcastPkts, ifOutNUcastPkts sifRxChar0s, sifRxChar1s.
What is sifStatisticsTime?
This read-only TimeTicks value reports the length of time during which statistics such as ifInOctets, ifInUcastPkts, sifRxChar0s, and sifRxChar1s have been collected on this port. An administrator uses it as the denominator needed to convert raw byte counters into an actual utilization rate. For example, the admin divides sifRxChar0s by sifStatisticsTime to calculate this port's average forwarded throughput rate since the last stats reset.
