sfddiThruB

Module: CTATX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTATX-MIB::sfddiThruB

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.8.1.1.21

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Whether to connect to the FDDI port B (not applicable for SAS).

What is sfddiThruB?

This read-write INTEGER flag controls whether the FDDI port connects through its B side, and does not apply to single-attachment stations (SAS). Admins set this when configuring a dual-attachment FDDI station's physical ring topology to control which physical connector participates in the ring. Setting sfddiThruB to false(2) on a DAS station would be done to intentionally take the B connection out of the dual ring path.
