Module: CTATX-MIB
OID (symbolic): CTATX-MIB::sfddiSBFlag
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.8.1.1.18
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Whether the ECM's optical bypass is stuck, i.e., the current value of the SMT SB_Flag variable.
What is sfddiSBFlag?
This read-only INTEGER flag reflects the current value of the SMT SB_Flag, indicating whether the FDDI Entity Coordination Management (ECM) optical bypass switch is stuck. An admin checks this to detect a mechanical fault in the optical bypass hardware that could prevent the ring from properly routing around a failed station. Finding sfddiSBFlag set to true(1) would prompt a technician to physically inspect the optical bypass switch for that FDDI port.
