Description: The number of packets that were discarded because they were too short.
What is sfddiRxShorts?
This read-write Counter records packets an FDDI port discarded because they were shorter than the minimum valid frame length. Admins watch this for signs of a misbehaving station or noise on the ring generating malformed runt frames. A rising sfddiRxShorts count concentrated on a single port could indicate a specific downstream station is transmitting corrupted, undersized frames.
