Description: The number of packets that were discarded due to parity errors.

What is sfddiRxParitys?

This read-write Counter counts packets discarded on an FDDI port because of parity errors detected during reception. Network staff track this to spot signal integrity problems on the FDDI ring, such as a marginal fiber connection or transceiver. A sudden jump in sfddiRxParitys after a cable was reseated would suggest that connector still isn't seated properly.
