What is sfddiRxHwAborts?

This read-write Counter tallies the number of packets an FDDI port discarded due to receive abort errors, a hardware-level reception failure. An admin monitors this counter to detect a failing FDDI adapter or physical-layer problem causing frames to be aborted mid-receive. A steadily climbing sfddiRxHwAborts count on one FDDI port, while others stay flat, points to a hardware fault isolated to that interface.
