lpbkPktNum

Module: CTATX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTATX-MIB::lpbkPktNum

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.13.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The number of loopback packets to be transmitted.

What is lpbkPktNum?

This read-write INTEGER specifies how many loopback test packets should be transmitted during a loopback operation. An admin sets this to control the duration/sample size of a loopback diagnostic test, balancing thoroughness against test time. Setting lpbkPktNum to a large value produces a more statistically reliable error rate from a loopback test than sending just a handful of packets.
