Module: CTATX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTATX-MIB::lmaAnyAddr

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.3.2.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Description: A spare LMA address, which is always all zeroes. Changing lmaAllAny will not take effect until the ES/1 reboots.

What is lmaAnyAddr?

This read-write OCTET STRING holds a spare LMA (LAN Management Address) slot that is always all zeroes by default, and any change to it only takes effect after the ES/1 reboots. An administrator would only touch this reserved placeholder if a future firmware release assigned it an active function. For example, the admin confirms lmaAnyAddr still reads all zeroes, as expected for this currently-unused spare LMA address slot.
