What is hwDiagStatus?

This read-only INTEGER reports the results of the diagnostics last performed on a module, typically run whenever the module is released from reset, usually at power-up. An admin checks this first when a module isn't functioning, to see whether it failed its self-test. For example, a status showing diagnostics failed on the module in slot 5 immediately points the admin at that specific card as the likely hardware fault, before digging further into hwDiagCode for detail.
