filterDest
Module: CTATX-MIB
OID (symbolic): CTATX-MIB::filterDest
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.10.7.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-write
Description: Beginning destination address.
What is filterDest?
This read-write OCTET STRING holds the beginning address of a destination-address range used by a traffic filter. An admin configures this alongside filterDestEnd to define which range of destination MAC addresses should trigger the filter. Setting filterDest to a server's MAC address (with a matching filterDestEnd) creates a filter targeting only traffic destined for that specific server.
