configTprPriority

Module: CTATX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTATX-MIB::configTprPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.3.1.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Priority to use when forwarding packets to any Token-Ring port from any non-Token-Ring port.

What is configTprPriority?

This read-write INTEGER sets the forwarding priority applied to packets bridged from any non-Token-Ring port onto a Token Ring port. An administrator tunes it to manage congestion risk when bridging faster media onto a typically slower Token Ring segment. For example, the admin lowers configTprPriority for bulk file-transfer traffic being bridged onto an already busy Token Ring segment.
