Description: Priority to use when forwarding packets to any FDDI port from any non-FDDI port.

What is configFddiPriority?

This read-write INTEGER sets the forwarding priority applied to packets bridged from any non-FDDI port onto an FDDI port. An administrator tunes it to ensure traffic entering the FDDI backbone from slower media is queued appropriately relative to other traffic. For example, the admin raises configFddiPriority so latency-sensitive traffic crossing from an Ethernet port onto the FDDI ring is queued ahead of bulk file transfers.
