What is addrTxChars?

This read-write Counter tracks the number of characters, or bytes, transmitted to a given address, and can be zeroed via a zero-stats addrOperation, serving as the outbound counterpart to addrRxChars. An administrator uses it together with addrTxPkts to calculate the average frame size being sent toward a particular host. For example, the admin uses addrTxChars together with addrTxPkts to calculate the average frame size being sent toward a particular server.
