This read-write Counter tracks the number of packets received from a given address that were forwarded, including both MAC-bridged frames from ports in Spanning Tree forwarding state and routed packets regardless of port state, and can be zeroed via a zero-stats addrOperation. An administrator compares this against addrRxPkts to see what fraction of a host's inbound traffic is actually being relayed elsewhere. For example, the admin compares addrRxPkts to addrRxFwdPkts for a server's address entry to see what fraction of its traffic is being forwarded on to other segments.
