Description: The next value to use for addrIndex, when you use read-next or read-block operations to read the address table. When the ES/1 boots, addrNext is initialized to -1.

What is addrNext?

This read-write INTEGER holds the next value to use for addrIndex when performing read-next or read-block operations, initialized to -1 when the ES/1 boots. An administrator relies on this device-supplied value to page through the address table sequentially without having to guess the next cursor position. For example, after a read-next operation, the admin copies the returned addrNext value into addrIndex to fetch the following entry in the table walk.
