Description: The MAC address for this address definition.

What is addrMAC?

This read-write OCTET STRING holds the MAC address for a given address table entry being read or written. An administrator uses it together with addrIndex or addrOperation to identify exactly which host's forwarding entry is being manipulated. For example, the admin writes a known server's addrMAC along with addrPort to manually pin that host's location in the bridge's address table.
