Module: CTATX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTATX-MIB::addrDynamicMax

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.5.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge

Access: read-write

Description: The maximum number of spanning tree addresses which have been learned since the ES/1 was last booted (or this parameter was last reset by the NMS).

What is addrDynamicMax?

This read-write Gauge reports the maximum number of dynamically learned addresses seen since the ES/1 was last booted or since this parameter was last reset by the NMS. An administrator compares this high-water mark against the configured ppeBAddrLimit for capacity planning. For example, the admin compares addrDynamicMax to ppeBAddrLimit to see how close the network came to exhausting the bridging address table during peak load.
