This read-write TimeTicks value reports the time, in centiseconds, since a packet was last received from a given address on a port in Spanning Tree learning or forwarding state, or the time since the entry was created if no packets have ever been received. An administrator uses it to identify stale entries that a host has stopped using and that should be aged out. For example, the admin sees a very large addrAge value for a particular MAC address and concludes that host has been disconnected or powered off for some time.
