Description: This entry identifies the diagnostic port to which mirrored packet will be destined.

What is kxmirrorDiagPort?

This read-write INTEGER identifies which physical port is designated as the diagnostic port that receives mirrored traffic. An administrator sets it to the port where their protocol analyzer or packet capture tool is physically connected. For example, an admin plugging a laptop running Wireshark into port 24 would set kxmirrorDiagPort to 24 so mirrored packets are delivered there.
