Description: The MAC address for this address definition.

What is kxaddrMAC?

This read-write OCTET STRING holds the MAC address for a given entry in the switch's address table. An admin reads or writes this field, together with kxaddrPort and kxaddrFlags, to inspect or manually define exactly which device address is bound to the table entry being configured. For example, when manually adding a static address entry, the admin would set kxaddrMAC to the specific device's MAC address before setting the accompanying port and flags fields.
