Description: The number times an address was not learned due to insufficient address table space.

What is kxaddrDynamicOverflows?

This read-only Counter tallies how many times the switch failed to learn a new MAC address because its address table ran out of space. A rising count here is a direct signal to the admin that the switch's address table capacity is being exceeded by the number of active devices on the network, which can cause unpredictable flooding behavior for the addresses that couldn't be learned. For example, if kxaddrDynamicOverflows starts climbing after a new group of workstations was added to a segment, the admin would recognize the address table has run out of room and consider redesigning the segment's topology.
