This read-only INTEGER reports the next available workgroup number to use when creating a new workgroup entry. It exists so that an administrator or management application can read this value first and then use it as the index key when adding a new row to the workgroup table, avoiding collisions with existing entries. For example, a management station about to define a fourth department workgroup would first read kxWorkGroupNextNumber to learn the correct unused index to use.
