What is cmmCompressionType?
This read-only value reports which data-compression scheme, such as none, MNP class 5, or V.42bis in one direction only, was actually negotiated for the current call. Admins check this when a session's effective throughput seems lower than the raw connect rate would suggest, since the negotiated compression scheme, or lack thereof, directly affects achievable data rates. For example, a call reporting cmmCompressionType of none where V.42bis was expected would explain lower-than-anticipated effective throughput on that session.
