Description: Depicts the number of physical changes that have occured to the chassis MIB. This includes additions and removal of components in the component table.
What is chPhysicalChanges?
This counter increments each time a component is physically added to or removed from the chassis's component table. Admins monitor this counter to detect unexpected hardware changes, such as a module being unexpectedly pulled or a new one hot-inserted, without having to continuously poll the full component table for differences. For example, a sudden increment in chPhysicalChanges overnight would prompt an admin to check the component table for a card that went missing or was newly added.
