Description: Whenever to leak (redistribute) routes learned from Static Route into the domain of the RIP protocol.
What is ripGlobalsLeakStaticIntoRIP?
This read-write enumerated integer controls whether manually configured static routes are redistributed into the RIP routing domain. An admin enables this so that a static route pointing to, say, a non-routing-protocol-speaking network gets advertised to RIP neighbors automatically. For example, a static route to an isolated management subnet would only become visible to other RIP routers if this leak is enabled.
