Description: The number of hops to the service.
What is ipxServHopCount?
This read-write integer sets the number of hops recorded to reach a given IPX service, or SAP, entry. An admin sets this when manually configuring a static SAP entry to reflect its actual distance, since SAP clients may prefer services with lower advertised hop counts. For example, configuring a static SAP entry with a low hop count value can make that service appear more attractive to querying clients than a competing service several hops further away.
