ipxDestAge
Module: CROUTE-MIB
OID (symbolic): CROUTE-MIB::ipxDestAge
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.2.2.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The age of the Routing table entry.
What is ipxDestAge?
This read-only integer reports how long a given IPX routing table entry has existed since it was created or last refreshed. An admin uses this to distinguish long-standing stable routes from ones that were just recently learned or changed, which can help when diagnosing recent routing instability. For example, seeing a very low ipxDestAge on a route that should be stable might indicate it was just relearned after a flap, prompting further investigation.
