What is ipxAccessControlActivation?
This read-write enumerated integer determines whether this IPX Access Control rule is enforced in hardware at wire-speed or in software, regular, by the CPU. An admin selects wire-speed(1) for rules on high-traffic IPX circuits where CPU-based filtering would add unacceptable overhead. For example, filtering IPX traffic on a busy backbone circuit would favor wire-speed activation to avoid taxing the device's CPU.
