This read-write RowStatus object controls enabling or disabling IP multicast on a specific interface by creating or deleting its row in the multicast interface table. An admin uses this to turn multicast forwarding on for a new interface or remove it from one that no longer needs to participate. For example, adding a new VLAN interface that needs to carry IPTV multicast traffic requires the admin to create a row here via ipMulticastInterfaceStatus.
