What is ipMulticastInterfaceSendAll?

This read-write enumerated integer controls whether all existing multicast groups' traffic is sent out this interface regardless of other group-membership parameters, with disable meaning the interface follows normal group-membership-based forwarding instead. An admin enables this on an interface where every downstream device needs every multicast stream, such as a monitoring aggregation port. For example, enabling ipMulticastInterfaceSendAll on a port feeding a network recorder ensures it receives every multicast group's traffic without needing individual IGMP joins.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.1.11.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CROUTE-MIB::ipMulticastInterfaceSendAll

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.1.11.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CROUTE-MIB::ipMulticastInterfaceSendAll.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.1.11.1.2.1 i <value>
