OID (symbolic): CROUTE-MIB::ipInterfaceARPServerStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.1.2.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

What is ipInterfaceARPServerStatus?

This read-write enumerated integer activates or deactivates the ARP Server mechanism specifically on this IP interface. An admin enables this on interfaces where the device should proactively answer ARP requests on behalf of other hosts, scoped as its own dedicated per-interface mechanism. For example, enabling ipInterfaceARPServerStatus on a particular VLAN interface lets that interface participate in ARP serving while leaving other interfaces on the device unaffected.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CROUTE-MIB::ipInterfaceARPServerStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.1.2.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CROUTE-MIB::ipInterfaceARPServerStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.1.2.1.10.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ipInterfaceARPServerStatus.1
