Description: The slot number of the module

What is drVlConfSlot?

This value reports the physical chassis slot number of the module that hosts a particular VLAN interface configuration entry. An admin uses it to map a VLAN's routing config back to the actual line card in a modular switch/router, which matters when diagnosing which physical card owns a given VLAN's IP routing behavior. For example, if VLAN 10's configuration row shows drVlConfSlot value 4, the admin knows to check or reseat the card in slot 4 if that VLAN's routing stops working.
