Description: inbound - netbios received from the interface are rebarodcasted, outbound - netbios are rebraodcasted to this interface, both - netbios are rebroadacsted both from and to this interface, disable - netbios is not rebraodcasted neither from nor to this interface. Currently only both and disable are supported

What is drIpInterfaceNetbiosRebroadcast?

This setting controls whether NetBIOS broadcast traffic is relayed inbound from this interface, outbound to it, in both directions, or not at all, though the description notes only both and disable are actually supported in this implementation. Admins configure this to control cross-subnet NetBIOS name resolution traffic, such as legacy Windows file-sharing broadcasts that don't cross routers by default. For example, setting drIpInterfaceNetbiosRebroadcast to both would let NetBIOS broadcasts flow across this router in either direction so a remote subnet can still browse SMB shares.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.6.1.1.13
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CROUTE-MIB::drIpInterfaceNetbiosRebroadcast

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.6.1.1.13.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CROUTE-MIB::drIpInterfaceNetbiosRebroadcast.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.31.6.1.1.13.1 i <value>
