concTraffic

Module: CRESCENDO-MIB

OID (symbolic): CRESCENDO-MIB::concTraffic

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.203.1.1.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The percentage of bandwidth utilization on the network for the previous polling interval.

What is concTraffic?

This read-only INTEGER, ranging 0 to 100, reports the percentage of network bandwidth utilized during the previous polling interval. An administrator watches this to gauge how loaded the concentrator's ring segment is and to spot trends toward saturation. For example, a jump from typical values around 20 to sustained readings above 80 would prompt investigation into what new traffic source appeared on the ring.
