Module: CRESCENDO-MIB
OID (symbolic): CRESCENDO-MIB::concCommunityString
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.203.1.1.1.6.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: Configurable community string with access rights defined by the value of concCommunityAccess.
What is concCommunityString?
This read-write DisplayString is a configurable SNMP community string, with its permissions governed by the paired concCommunityAccess object. An administrator changes this value to rotate or add community strings used to authenticate SNMP requests to the concentrator. For example, replacing a factory-default community string here closes off a well-known credential that could otherwise be used to access the device.
