This OID identifies which function of the owning EISA board registered the I/O port range configuration described in this row. An admin uses this index to determine exactly which sub-device on a multi-function EISA card owns a particular reported I/O port range. For example, function index 0 of a combo card might own the port range for its serial sub-device while function index 1 owns the port range for its game sub-device.
