Description: The battery's manufacture date.

This field will be set to year = 0 if the agent cannot provide
the module date.  The hour, minute, and second field will be set
to zero (0) if they are not relevant.  The year field is set
with the most significant octet first.

The string will be empty if the battery does support
this function.

What is cpqSiSysBatteryDate?

This read-only 7-octet string encodes the battery's manufacture date as year, month, day, hour, minute, and second fields. It matters because batteries degrade with age regardless of usage, so knowing manufacture date informs proactive replacement scheduling. For example, a preventive-maintenance schedule flags a battery whose cpqSiSysBatteryDate shows it was manufactured over 5 years ago, well past typical service life.
