ok(2) The monitor is operating within normal limits.

degraded(3) The monitor is not functioning within normal operating limits. At least one of the operational features has become degraded.

failed(4) The monitor is not functioning within normal operating limits. At least one of the operational features has failed causing the monitor to not be usable. The monitor should be replaced.

What is cpqSiMonitorOperationalCondition?

This read-only integer reports the condition of a monitor's operational features: other (unsupported/unknown), ok, degraded, or failed. It matters as a broader functional health check beyond temperature, distinguishing a genuinely failed display from a cabling issue. For example, helpdesk sees cpqSiMonitorOperationalCondition report failed(4) and schedules a monitor swap instead of troubleshooting the video cable.
