cpqSiAuxiliaryInput

Module: CPQSINFO-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPQSINFO-MIB::cpqSiAuxiliaryInput

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.2.2.4.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The state of the auxiliary input (pointing) device.

What is cpqSiAuxiliaryInput?

This read-only integer reports the state (other/disabled/enabled) of the auxiliary input pointing device, such as a mouse port. It matters for headless or remotely-managed servers where an admin wants to confirm that local peripheral interfaces have been deliberately disabled. For example, an admin who disabled the auxiliary pointing-device port on a server managed only through the remote management card later confirms via this OID that it still reports disabled(2).
