What is sanEventSourceType?

This read-only OCTET STRING (128 bytes) reports the device type of the subject of the event. It tells an admin what kind of device, such as a switch or an appliance, actually generated the condition behind a logged event. For example, an admin sees a source type indicating a fibre switch and knows to check switch port statistics rather than storage array logs for that event.
