What is smtpEmailAddr?
smtpEmailAddr is a read-write string (up to 64 characters) holding the from-address the Unity PDU uses when it sends alert notifications. This is what recipients see as the sender, which matters for mail filtering rules and for recognizing at a glance which PDU an alert came from. For example, an admin managing many PDUs might set smtpEmailAddr uniquely per unit so alert emails are easy to attribute to the source device.
