cpeSystemSave

Module: CPE-DSL-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPE-DSL-MIB::cpeSystemSave

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.16972.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: saving the CPE s configuration to NVRAM

What is cpeSystemSave?

Setting this read-write INTEGER to save(1) instructs the CPE to write its current running configuration into NVRAM. An admin invokes it after making configuration changes over SNMP so the settings persist across the next power loss or reboot. For example, after adjusting the PVC encapsulation type, an operator sets this OID to make sure the new setting is not lost when the customer unplugs the modem.
