cpeSystemReboot

Module: CPE-DSL-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPE-DSL-MIB::cpeSystemReboot

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.16972.2.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Rebooting CPE s operation

What is cpeSystemReboot?

Setting this read-write INTEGER to reboot(1) commands the CPE to restart its system. An administrator uses it to remotely recover a modem that has become unresponsive without needing a truck roll to power-cycle it. For example, a support engineer triggers this OID after a firmware update leaves the modem's DSL link stuck in a training loop, and the reboot clears the state.
