cpePingPkgSize

Module: CPE-DSL-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPE-DSL-MIB::cpePingPkgSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.16972.5.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: the packet size for ping test

What is cpePingPkgSize?

This read-write INTEGER (32..4096 bytes) sets the packet size used for the CPE's ping test. An admin increases this value to test whether larger packets reveal fragmentation or MTU issues that smaller pings would not expose. For example, after users report slow large file transfers, support sets cpePingPkgSize near 4096 to check for packet loss at larger sizes.
